How to Delete Your Account

Filmxora allows you to permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. You have two options:

Option 1: Delete from your profile (recommended)

If you are logged in, you can delete your account directly:

1. Go to your Profile
2. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
3. Click "Delete Account"
4. Confirm by entering your password
5. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately

Option 2: Request deletion via email

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by sending an email to:

[email protected]

Include the following information in your email:

• Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
• Your username or email address associated with the account

We will process your request within 48 hours and send you a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

What data is deleted?

When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, username, email, profile picture, bio)
• Watch history (all movies and TV shows marked as watched)
• Ratings and reviews
• Favorites and watchlist
• Playlists and playlist memberships
• Social data (followers, following, shared recommendations)
• Notifications
• Premium payment records
• All other associated data

This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Data Retention

Account deletion is immediate and permanent. We do not retain any personal data after deletion. Anonymous, aggregated statistics (such as total site visits) are not affected.
