Clériton Sávio Santos Silva, widely known as Teto, is a prominent Brazilian trap singer, rapper, and songwriter. Born on October 19, 2001, in Jacobina, Bahia, his early musical exposure came from his father, who introduced him to traditional genres like pagode, axé, and MPB. Teto began composing his own material at the age of twelve, recording early ideas straight from his bedroom.During the 2020 pandemic, he achieved unprecedented internet fame before ever releasing an official studio single. By sharing snippet videos on Instagram and TikTok, he earned the nickname "The King of Previews" (Rei das Prévias), sparking an intense bidding war among major record labels. He ultimately signed with the independent label 30PRAUM, co-founded by trap pioneer Matuê.Teto made his official commercial debut in 2021 with the mega-hit "M4" alongside Matuê. The track surged directly into the Top 5 on Spotify Brazil and accumulated tens of millions of views on YouTube.
