During the fight, the golden seal of the universe accidentally transports them to the modern era. There, they save a woman named Yuan Yuan from a demon and temporarily stay at her home, causing chaos in her life. Meanwhile, Grandma and a snake demon also arrive in the modern world, plotting to bring Lanruo Temple into the present and turn Earth into a demon paradise. Unbeknownst to them, they are pawns in Grandma’s larger scheme. Away from the temple too long, Nie Xiao Qian begins to lose her powers and faces possible disappearance.
