After his father's arrest shatters his once-stable life, college student Shinji falls into deep despair. One day, he is approached by his classmate Yuki, who invites him to join a strange part-time job—working as a "Death Angel." The job involves resolving the lingering regrets of the departed who cannot move on, and guiding them peacefully into the afterlife. Although skeptical at first, Shinji gradually regains hope as he helps each of the departed fulfill their final wish and pass on.
