Special Boy

In 2015, Jon Rudnitsky landed his dream job as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. One season later, Jon was fired. Over the last decade, he’s toured comedy clubs and small venues across the country. Each year, the crowds grow smaller and the paychecks thinner. Special Boy is an intimate portrait of the struggle to break through in comedy, and how long someone can spend chasing their dream.
