Two very different groups of guests are waiting for the bride and groom outside the registry office in St. Pauli. Engineer Isabel and ex-convict Ivo have an unusual connection. After a stroke, Isabel's father Ernst needs care. Isabel meets Ivo by chance and hires him as a domestic help.
