A promising civil engineer, Stelios, delays his marriage to his beloved Anna because he wants to marry off his sisters first. When Anna becomes engaged to a wealthy sailor and his plans for a major project are rejected, Stelios leaves for Kuwait to work. In an accident, he loses his sight and returns to Greece.
