Cassie Dixon is an American film and television editor. She began working in post-production in the mid-2000s, initially in support roles such as production assistant and post-production assistant, before moving into editorial departments. Early credits include work as a dailies editor on the reality television series Bad Girls Club (2006) and subsequent experience as an apprentice and assistant editor on feature films released in the late 2000s.
Dixon advanced through the ranks of assistant editing on major studio projects, contributing to high-profile action and superhero films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She served as second assistant editor on Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and later as first assistant editor on Captain America: Civil War (2016). Her work continued on large ensemble productions, including Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), where she served as first assistant editor.
In addition to franchise filmmaking, Dixon has worked across a range of genres, including the science-fiction epic Man of Steel (2013), the thriller At the Devil's Door (2014), and the action-comedy Gringo (2018), primarily as an assistant or first assistant editor. Her television credits include assistant editor work on the Marvel miniseries Ironheart (2025) and first assistant editor duties on the miniseries Wonder Man (2026).
Alongside her assistant editor work, Dixon has also received editor credits on earlier, shorter projects, such as the short film Forgiven (2008), and later returned to an editor role on an episode of Wonder Man (2026).
