Depois que sua esposa falece, Keisuke, passa a cuidar sozinho de sua filha e apesar das dificuldades eles vivem felizes juntos, mas um dia ele sofre um acidente no trabalho e é levado ao hospital, onde é submetido à um exame de tomografia e acaba descobrindo que é portador do Mal de Alzheimer, que já está no estágio inicial, com isso ele começa a mudar seu estilo de vida por estar preocupado em como vai ficar a vida de sua filha ainda pequena.
