Chrysa Serdaris

Chrysa Serdari is an accomplished set and costume designer, with a significant career in both theater and major international film productions. She was born in Thessaloniki. In 2013, she graduated from the Department of Cinema, School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2006, she has regularly attended the Thessaloniki Film and Documentary Festivals and participated in the series of workshops, open discussions and lectures that were organized. She also attended seminars, workshops, conferences and workshops organized by the Department of Cinema and Theater (A.U.Th.), the Thessaloniki Film Festival, the Teloglio Foundation, the Museum of Byzantine Culture, the Museum of Photography, and the Greek Costume Society. He distinguished himself in photography and graphic design competitions. He participated in scenographic actions in notable artistic events of the Ministry of Culture and collaborated in the relocation phase of the Greek participation in the Venice Biennale, at the Museum of Byzantine Culture. He attended Creative Thinking seminars (KEE), workshops in Sketch-Comics, Hagiography, Jewelry and Batik-painting on silk. He has taught voluntary art workshops to adults and children in co-organization with the Municipality of Thessaloniki. He has edited the scenography and costume design in the first feature-length student film of the Department of Cinema of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. "4 Days", in music videos, advertisements and short films, three of which have won first prizes. He has collaborated with the State Theatre of Northern Greece as a scenographer-costume designer and as an assistant. She has worked in international and domestic film and musical theater productions as an assistant set designer and as a costume designer. She has certified knowledge of image processing. In the last decade, she has been particularly involved with clothing and jewelry. She experiments with various materials and creates innovative "visual and sculptural" applications.
