Michał Cygan

Michał Cygan is a BAFTA & BIFA qualifying Director, Writer and Producer. Founder & CEO of Blue Elephant Company. He graduated London Film Academy and Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School. In addition to his filmmaking endeavours, he was an active athletics competitor throughout his teenage years. His newest film - Cornfield (2026) tells a story of a creative child with a passion for drawing who escapes the confines of a rigid school system through her imagination, where epic battle between mice and a hawk mirrors her fight for self-expression - changing both her world and her teacher's.
