How to import your Trakt history into Filmxora
Filmxora imports your Trakt history from a CSV file with the title, year, type (movie or show), your rating and the date; if it also includes the TMDB ID, the match is exact. Upload it under Import choosing Trakt, check the preview and confirm. Ratings from 1 to 10 become 5 stars.

Step by step
- Get a CSV from your Trakt accountExport your history or your ratings as CSV. If your export comes in another format (JSON, for example), convert it to CSV first.
- Check the columnsThe file needs at least the title; year, type, rating and date are recommended (see the table).
- Upload it to FilmxoraIn Filmxora open Import, choose Trakt and upload the CSV.
- Check and confirmLook through the preview, untick anything you do not want and confirm.
Columns Filmxora recognises

Keep in mind
- Only CSV files are accepted (or a ZIP with CSV files inside).
- Without a type column, every row is treated as a movie.
- Shows are imported as watched with your rating, without episode progress; you mark that from the show page.
Frequently asked questions
Which Trakt format does Filmxora accept?
A CSV file (or a ZIP containing one) with columns such as title, year, type, rating and watched_at or rated_at. If your data is in JSON, convert it to CSV first.
How is the Trakt rating converted?
Trakt uses a 1–10 scale and Filmxora uses 5 stars, so the rating is divided by 2: a 9 becomes 4.5.
Why include tmdb_id in the CSV?
Because Filmxora uses the TMDB catalog: with the ID the match is exact; without it, we search by title and year.
Is episode progress imported?
No. Trakt shows are imported as watched with your rating; you mark the episode you are on in Filmxora.
